This week, the domestic flaked caustic soda market has moved up the focus of transactions, and companies have pre-sale orders with multiple delivery dates. It is expected that the flaked caustic soda market price will remain stable during the Spring Festival. On January 27, the average market price of 99% caustic soda in China was 3,993 yuan/ton, compared with a rise of 0.86% on January 20.

 Market Highlights

The ex-factory price of flaked caustic soda enterprises increased by RMB 150-200/ton this week. Some mainstream flaked caustic soda enterprises in Northwest China are in good pre-sale, and the ordering period will end in mid-to-late February.

 Market outlook forecast

The market demand for caustic soda is acceptable this week, and the pace of shipments is smooth.
